Don't Want to be all Bi Myself

Okay, you can shoot me for that title.  I couldn't resist.

Anyway, this is a scene from Loki: Agent of Asgard. This Secret Wars bullshit is about to destroy the universe, Loki comes staggering back to Verity after having to literally pull himself together right at the end of all things.

Loki: Okay, there's a good chance the universe is going to be destroyed in the next few hours so um . . . I'm going to save your soul into this gem I'm wearing on my bracelet.  That way, wherever we end up, we'll be together.  And THEN I'll go try to save my home world.

Verity: O//////O

Marvel Writers: No!  People won't stop shipping these two!  How can we have Loki do this incredibly romantic thing and not have it feed the shipping?  Ah ha!  I know!  We'll have him assume female form!  There's no way people will ship two women with each other!

Everyone: . . . . . uh . . . . 

Well, us bisexual fangirls are not so easily thwarted, Marvel!  Word of God is that Loki himself is bisexual and there's been a few instances that make me think Verity might be, too.  Particularly when her mom is bugging her to: 'Find a nice man! (beat) Or woman; I'm not judging!'  Verity doesn't bother to correct her on which sex she's attracted to, just says she's not in the market for a relationship.

Also, I project more than a little onto this character and I really, really want her to be bi.
