Makai Doll

Makai joins the doll world! Her head is a 2012 Hawaiian Barbie, seen in her original outfit up top. I'd make some snarky comment about of course all Hawaiians dress in grass skirts and hula, but, well, in my head-canon, Makai is a professional dancer.

So I guess I can't say much.

I put her head on a Theresa Fashionista body. I grabbed Chrissie doll at first, but the skintone was too dark for the Hawaiian face. One of the outfits the Theresa came with was the totally 'designed by Crayola' dress you see above.

Makai would totally wear that dress.

She's got the skintone, sense of fun, and class 5 'not giving a shit what you think'. Ditto on the hot pink shoes.

What she makes up for in confidence she lacks in subtlety. Boyfriends indeed.
