She walked through the door of that dive bar one hip at a time. She was obviously too young to be in here, but goddamn, you wouldn't catch anybody complaining. She was tall – not as tall as me, but not quite six feet – fair skinned and freckled. She had curves in all the right places and a shock of hair that couldn't decide if it wanted to be red or blond.

Every eye would have been on her anyway, but she made sure they stayed that way with her colors.
