Some dolls I've been working on!

Anyway, Phooka here was made from a Fashion Royalty Dracula. I would like to have the unaltered Dracula and his three brides because it would give Charles and Mrs. Offdensenx4 someone to hang out with. But! I've been trying to turn Dracula's vampiric snarl into a quirky grin. It's close, but not quite there. I can't get it to look right! I need Phooka to join the Dollacalypse! Who else is going to get Matty pregnant?

has always been my little personal cheerleader for Ulfur and Esbjorn is her favorite character, so when she shyly showed me a pic of her OC, Holle, I thought: Sure, I have room for her. I didn't tell her I was going to include Holle until I wrote her in, though, just so it would be a surprise. > So Holle kind of has two mommies. comes up with the incidentals like what she likes to wear and do and I handle stuff like how she fits into the storyline. So the one on the left is my Holle nearly finished. Her patterns on the dress are a bit uneven, but I like how they look homemade - like she bought a plain dress and added the finishing touches herself with fabric paint. This apparently a very Holle thing to do.

I might work on her hairstyle more; NoXmasJokes draws her with more wavy hair. And I'm not sold on the glasses. It's hard to find glasses that fit right. The Disney V.I.P dolls have bigger heads than a barbie, but not as big as a monster high doll. These are the best I've found, but they're supposed to be sunglasses. I can see Holle with pink glasses, but I might carve out the lenses like I did with the triplets.

I do like her freckles! I used a new technique with paint instead of markers. I thought paint was too dark, but I painted on her freckles, then blotted it with my thumb. It's permanent, but very natural-looking.
